About me

I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in New York City and have been practicing for over a decade. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from New York University and am licensed by New York State to practice psychotherapy independently.

I received advanced post-graduate training and have a Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center here in NYC, where I am also on faculty and supervise social work graduate students. I also attend a weekly Psychoanalysis and Complex Trauma consultation and study group.

I also served as the Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at NYU for several years.

I have extensive clinical experience working with queer, gay, lesbian, bi, pan, straight, trans, cis, poly, monogamous, and nonmonogamous people — in addition to people of various ethnic and racial identities, people in recovery, and those of various socioeconomic backgrounds. The wide diversity in human experiences is what I value the most in my work.
