About me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and contemporary relational psychoanalyst in New York City and have been practicing for over a decade.
I completed a certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, where I am also on faculty. And Iām currently a candidate in the Trauma Studies program at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis.
Additional past professional experience includes serving as the Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at NYU for several years, as well as providing social services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the early to mid-1990s here in NYC.
I have extensive clinical experience working with queer, gay, lesbian, bi, pan, straight, trans, cis, poly, monogamous, and nonmonogamous people ā in addition to people of various ethnic and racial identities, people struggling with and in recovery from substance use/abuse and compulsive behaviors, and those of various socioeconomic backgrounds. The wide diversity in human experiences is what I value the most in my work.
