About me

I’ve been a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in New York City for about thirteen years. I’m also licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.

I completed a certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center — as well as a certificate in Trauma Studies from the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis.

Additional past professional experience includes serving as the Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at NYU for several years, as well as providing social services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the early to mid-1990s here in NYC.

I have extensive clinical experience working with queer, gay, lesbian, bi, pan, straight, trans, cis, poly, monogamous, and nonmonogamous people — in addition to people of various ethnic and racial identities, people struggling with and in recovery from substance use/abuse and compulsive behaviors, and those of various socioeconomic backgrounds. The wide diversity in human experiences is what I value the most in my work.
